There are many instances of harassment on Facebook. We deployed a machine learning system to defend against repeat offenders, achieving 95% accuracy and preventing millions of potential negative interactions each day.

Our data science work discovered that profile pictures were a vulnerability for certain users. We deployed a privacy system to protect users' profiles, and successfully decreased user churn in India, a geographic area of high growth.
